Chapter 1: Lost in this Moment
Kevin awoke to a soft touch at his lips and slight taste of strawberry lip gloss.. He opened his eyes to see Amanda leaning over him, her eyes still shut from the kiss. His mouth opened as he kissed her back. She leaned back up and opened her eyes. Kevin stared up and basked into their emerald power. Amanda's long blonde hair hung down in front of her face towards him. He could never understand the power that look had over him, it drove him crazy. She gave him a quick half smile. Kevin still got overwhelmed by her beauty the same way he did seven months ago when they first started dating.
"Hey beautiful," he said groggily.
"Morning baby, well afternoon," she replied. "You stayed up late again didn't you?"
"Um..yeah, couldn't sleep. It might be easier if I had my beautiful girl here for me to put my arms around," he answered. He grabbed her from where she was sitting on the bed and pulled her over top of him to the other side of the bed. Her feet left dangling over him.
"I know baby. That day is coming, real soon. I'll be here every night, safe in you arms. Your stuck with me forever," she promised. She pulled her feet down from over him.
"I can't wait, I wanna be stuck with you," he said brushing her hair back behind her ears. She formed her lips into a kiss and beckoned him to kiss her again. He leaned towards her a kissed him.
Kevin couldn't recall a moment in his life that mad him happier since Amanda had been in his life. The feeling of her love just filled his whole being.. Kevin believed he finally had purpose and direction. He had the girl he was going to spend the rest of his life with. His life was complete.
They stared into each other's eyes. She pouted her lips again. He leaned close but stopped before reaching her lips to tease her. She whimpered at him through her pouted lips. He smiled and then obliged and leaned the rest of the way towards her and kissed her again. They kissed deeply. Her hand slid up to his face as his hand caressed down her side and came to a rest on top of her hips. The kissed got deeper and his arm started pulling her body towards him..
Amanda broke the kiss so she could kick off her shoes while Kevin pulled the blanket out from underneath her so she could slide under. They started kissing each other again. Their hands sliding all over each other. He slid his hand down and unbuttoned her pants. She wiggled them down until she could kick them off.
Kevin pulled Amanda towards him until she was on top of him. She looked down to him, once again her hair hanging down towards him. Seeing her like this made him want her more. She pulled off her shirt revealing a black lacey bra. Amanda bent down towards him again and started kissing on his neck driving him crazy.
"God baby I love you," he whispered.
She stopped long enough to say "I love you" back and then kept going. His hands slid down her slender back. He came to her bra clasps and unhinged them. She leaned back and let if fall down exposing her breast. Kevin turned her over so now he was hovering over her.
He reversed the roles and started kissing her neck. She moaned in acceptance. Kevin slid his hand down over her breast. Amanda's hands were busy sliding through Kevin's hair.
"Your driving my crazy," she whispered. She slid her hands down using her fingertips to caress Kevin's back. When she reached his boxers she started tugging at them.
"I want you!" she said.
He slid them down and off. Kevin then slid his hands up her long legs till he reached her pink thong and started pulling it down. He then moved back to where he was hanging over her. He locked his blue eyes on to hers.
"I love you," he said.
"I love you too," she answered biting her lower lip. He leaned down and started kissing her. He wrapped her legs around him. Their bodes became as entangled as their hearts were. They let their passion for each other take over and made love. Both completely focused on the other.
Their bodies rolled around the bed for over an hour. After it ended, Kevin laid on his back while Amanda had her head on his shoulder with her arm resting on his chest. Both were breathing hard and sweaty. Kevin's arm caressing her back. .
"God baby your amazing," she said.
"No babe, we're amazing. It's because everything is perfect with you. Its because I love you so much," Kevin answered. He kissed her forehead.
"Awl, I love you too snuckie. You're perfect. You do everything perfect. God you amaze me." she said looking up at him. She formed her lips to a kiss again. His head tilted down and pecked her lips again.
"Now get up!" she said as she lightly slapped his chest. She crawled out from under the covers at the bottom of the bed. She picked up her thong and started sliding back up her slender long legs. Kevin slid out and sat up on the side of the bed. He shook the remaining cobwebs from his brain and got up and went to his chest and got out a new pair of boxers.
"When I start spending the night and with us doing that, how do you think you're going to start getting any sleep?" Amanda joked. She slid her blue jeans up and fastened them. She began rooting around the side of the bed for her bra.
"Are you kidding?" he replied. He walked over to his closet and started going through his own jeans. "After doing that I'll be so wore out I will sleep like a baby."
She fastened her bra and slid her top back on. "You better. I wish you would get some sleep and stop staying up all night."
"I trying to. On the bright side, I got caught up on my Tivo," he joked sliding a pair of jeans on.
"You and that damn Tivo," Amanda groaned. She walked out to the bedroom. Kevin laughed as he got into the other side of his closest.
"Hey I had a couple good Survivorman's on tape," Kevin went on. I now know to survive if I get stuck the Amazon or in African plains."
"Good thing since we have a trip to Africa planned," she mocked form the other room.
"Hey its educational. You never know when something like that could come in handy."
"Uh huh, you're such a dork," she laughed. She plopped down into a lounge chair in the living room. "When would you ever be in a dangerous area?"
"You know I want to go somewhere in the Caribbean. There is some island that lets you get in the water and feed sharks. That would be awesome," Kevin said as he flipped through the shirts that were hanging in the closet.
"No, I don't think so," she answered sternly.
"What?"
"You will not be doing that."
"Its not like its free diving, I'll be in a cage."
"I don't care. The answer is no. You don't even know how to dive."
"How hard could that be to learn."
"No you'll get your fucking arm bit off. That's the end of this discussion. I swear I hate that damn Tivo. I hope you know when I move in you will be taping my stuff."
"As long as it don't interfere with my stuff."
"Excuse me! Don't make me kick your ass," she threatened.
"We'll find a compromise," he said smiling.
"That's what I thought," Amanda replied.
"How was your class today?" he said pulling a hard rock shirt off a hangar.
"Eh, okay," she answered. "Just a bunch of boring medical stuff."
He slide the shirt on and walked into the living room. Amanda had sat down in the lounge chair and was fiddling with her cell phone. Kevin walked over to her and pulled her up to her feet. He wrapped his arms around her waist.
"Okay huh?" he mocked.
"Okay," she teased back.
"Just okay," as his grip tightened pulling her closer.
"Yep," as she stared into his blue eyes. Their heads tilted as they itched ever closer.
"I love you," Kevin whispered.
"I love you too," she got out just as their lips met.
Instinctively their eyes shut as their lips touched. The kiss was deep and passionate and heart throbbing. Amanda's left leg kipped up behind her as the kiss went on. Kevin's grip around her tightened and he leaned back lifting her completely off the ground. Amanda broke the kiss to let out a startled giggle. She smiled looking down at him. She slightly bit her bottom lip before leaning down and putting her lips on Kevin's again.
This time their lips stayed together for what seemed to be an eternity. The passion in the kiss was immense. Their lips held fast, neither moving. I was barely noticeable if they were even breathing. They appeared to be statues carved into this romantic embrace. The world around them seemed to fade away and disappear. The only existence they knew was each other. Nothing else mattered for now, they became lost in the moment.
